VIRGINIA TAGLE

The paintings by Virginia Tagle are full of rich warmth and courage.  Her use of rich hues and transparent grays bring out a subtle atmosphere brightened by a delicate light.  Her subject matter is then portrayed loosely and gracefully transporting the spectator to intimate reminiscences inspiring tranquility and pleasure.
In her work the challenge of nature itself is endless. She stands from a very intimate position and looks back at her natural models.  Flowers, old homes, the sea, all of these transparent and luminous, colorfully convert these paintings into a metaphor of the spirit.
