B. M. Johnston is an award winning internationally recognized artist. Born in Miami, Fla. in 1946 when it was still a Hemingway kind of place.With the exception of a couple of years in Europe and periodic travels through the Americas he has spent most of his adult life sailing the Caribbean and capturing it on canvas.

On one of his adventures he discovered Antigua Guatemala where he was overwhelmed by the colors and themes of the country which he has portrayed in a brilliant expressionistic style.
His original paintings are represented in private and corporate collections throughout the world. For his work here is often referred to as the Art Ambassador to the Guatemalan people.

His latest limited Edition Prints, “Cornucopia de Color”, “Mercado al Sol” and “Flower Market” are very good examples of this Artist’s special view of Guatemala. They are high quality and have been printed on museum quality egg-shell paper using the best of german inks. A final coat of varnish has been applied to each and everyone of them for ultraviolet rays protection. They have also been hand signed and numbered by the artist.
